Facem Caster & Observer Rules

1. Purpose & Acceptance

1.1. Accredited casters bring the circuit to life by casting matches from the in-game observer slot, which shows the full game. The goal is to create content, grow the scene, and showcase both teams, without ever affecting the outcome or the integrity of a match.

1.2. These rules cover casting from the observer slot only. Streaming your own player or coach point of view is covered by the separate Streaming Rules and does not require accreditation.

1.3. Accepting this policy is mandatory before a member can be accredited as a caster. A member cannot take the observer slot or cast a match on behalf of a team until they have accepted these rules through their personal accreditation link.

1.4. This policy supplements the Facem Platform Rules and Circuit Rules. Where they differ on casting matters, this policy applies.

2. Who Can Be an Accredited Caster

2.1. A team may accredit one or more casters. A caster is a roster member who has been given the caster role by their team and has accepted this policy.

2.2. A caster must have a linked Riot ID. Casting on the circuit is tied to a genuine Valorant identity.

2.3. A caster is a non-playing role. A member cannot be both a player and a caster on the same team, and a caster may not cast a match they are playing in.

2.4. A person may be an accredited caster for more than one team on Facem.

2.5. Accreditation is granted to an individual, is not transferred between people, and may be revoked at any time by the Admins under Section 5.

3. The Observer Slot

3.1. Only an accredited caster who is a member of one of the two teams in a match may take that match's observer slot on Facem. Because the observer sees the full game, the obligations here are stricter than for a player or coach stream.

3.2. A cast must run on a broadcast delay. This is not optional, and it must be large enough that nothing shown on stream can reach the players or affect the match.

3.3. A cast must give fair coverage to both teams and put both sides forward. It is a showcase of the match, not a one-sided broadcast for the caster's own team.

3.4. During a cast, the Facem logo (available in the brand kit) must be visible on screen, and the stream title must include facem.gg together with the names of both teams. Featuring the opposing team's logo, which is available on the Facem match page, is strongly encouraged.

3.5. A caster must stay neutral. They must not pass any in-game information to players, help either team, or do anything that could influence the match. A caster's presence must have no competitive impact.

4.1. A team cannot refuse to have its match cast by an accredited caster who follows this policy. Being cast is part of competing on Facem.

4.2. Teams keep the full protection of these rules. The mandatory delay, the neutrality obligation, and the enforcement measures below exist so that being cast never puts a team at a disadvantage.

5. Integrity, Reporting & Enforcement

5.1. The overriding rule is simple: a cast must never affect a match. Leaking information, coaching through a stream, ghosting, or any use of the observer position to help a team is a serious violation.

5.2. Where a caster abuses their position, their team may be penalized under the Circuit Rules, up to FP penalties or a forfeit, and the caster's accreditation may be revoked.

5.3. A team that suspects a caster of cheating, leaking information, or otherwise breaking this policy should open a ticket on the Facem Discord server so the Admins can investigate.

5.4. The Admins may investigate, request the recording of a stream, suspend or revoke accreditation, and apply sanctions. Their decisions on casting matters are final.

6. Changes & Versioning

6.1. This policy is versioned, with the current version shown at the top of this document. Material changes are published on facem.gg and may require re-accreditation.

6.2. Continuing to cast after an update means accepting the updated policy.

By accepting this policy, you confirm that you have read and understood these rules and agree to cast Facem matches in line with them.
